ShareLiterary Publicist
Bohlsen Group is growing quickly and we are hiring a full-time literary publicist.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree; grasp of basic public relations tools; proven knowledge of traditional and social media; and solid research, writing and editing skills. Applicants must be comfortable working under deadlines and adhering to prescribed processes. Minimum one year of experience required.
General
- Contribute to the writing of blogs and regular updates, general info inquiries, etc. for the Bohlsen Group website
- Participate in Bohlsen Group weekly staff meetings
Client Work
- Act as part of team on assigned Bohlsen Group accounts for publishing client, Author Solutions
- Participate as-needed in author/client meetings and conference calls
- Contribute to the strategic development of traditional and social media plans that create favorable coverage for Author Solutions and its authors
- Develop PR and SM campaigns and time lines
- Research, write and edit press releases and other SM and PR/marketing materials
- Create traditional and social media distribution lists
- Pitch stories to social and traditional media
- Conduct weekly client activity reporting
- Compile media results for clients
- Coordinate client mailings
