Meet our summer interns, part one

At BohlsenPR, summer means lots of things: Sun streaming in through our skylights, walks to Monument Circle for various festivities and a fresh batch of shiny new interns. Meet our first pair:

Kara McIver is a senior at Purdue Univesity. She's studying public relations and rhetorical advocacy and hails from Crown Point, Ind.

Renea Vaughn will be graduating in August from Purdue Univeristy with a degree in public relations and rhetroical advocacy. She's from Lafayette, Ind.

We're thrilled to have all of our interns this summer. Stay tuned to learn more, and be sure to check out our blog for their posts.

Cincinnati’s biggest concerts? There’s an app for that.

Riverbend Music Center and PNC Pavilion are unveiling a new smartphone application as the 2011 summer concert season begins. In addition to riverbend.org, the app serves as a complete events portal that lists individual shows, dates, stage and door times, on-sale information and links to view and purchase tickets. Available now in the Apple® store, the app works on multiple platforms, including iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

BohlsenPR is working with the Riverbend Music Center and the PNC Pavilion to promote both the application and the more than 40 shows taking place this summer.



The luxe look

New York-based interior designer Jonathan Partridge recently launched a new home furnishings offering, The Jonathan Partridge Collection. BohlsenPR worked with Partridge to develop a launch plan that included personal URL web portals for more than 30 high-end design media contacts. View some of the results:
