Andy Wilson (@awilsonindy) is known throughout the national events and entertainment industry for his award-winning promotional work.
Andy has nearly 20 years’ experience in communications, public relations, marketing and events oversight, most of it with high-profile events and entertainers. His portfolio includes Live Nation (and its precursors) and Live-360, promoting such luminaries as Paul McCartney, U2, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Kenny Chesney and the Eagles and major festivals and national tours that include the annual Bunbury Music Festival, Indy Jazz Fest, The Rolling Stones ZIP CODE Tour 2015, Car Craft Summer Nationals, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Cirque du Soleil, Broadway Across America, Menopause The Musical for G4 Productions, HOT ROD Power Tour and Drag Week and more. Andy also works closely on specialty projects for several sports clients including the Indianapolis Colts, The Enthusiast Network (HOT ROD, Motor Trend), 24 Hours of Booty and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway among others.
As a vice president at Bohlsen Group, Andy develops new business and oversees the E/E division, specializing in driving attendance, awareness and revenue to client events and venues. His strong communications skills have earned coverage in Rolling Stone, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, CNN, USA Today, SPIN, Boston Globe and other top-tier outlets, and has driven sold-out shows time and again.
Well connected in the marketing and PR community, Andy also serves as a communications board member for Indiana March of Dimes, the Indiana chapter of the ALS Association and as an adjunct professor at Butler University.
The Events + Entertainment division at Bohlsen Group has won numerous PRSSA awards for its work on projects including Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Songwriting with Soldiers, Super Bowl XLVI, Bunbury Music Festival and the Red Bull Moto GP.
